News, Updates and the weekend

Karl Svensson, Swedish wonder kid said that though he is happy the way Caen played against Nice, we probably could have blown it.

He told caen.maville.com “We took too many risks in the second half. But this match is behind us. We are playing Nancy next.”

Everyone that I have heard from has seemed to come to this conclusion as well. Caen dominated the first half, but couldn’t get it done. Luckily, we were able to get that beautiful goal in late in the match to not really dwell on it much more.

From what I have been told, the Caen fans are thrilled with Nivet, Jemaa and Gouffran’s play. Eluchans also played well, but people should expect Lemaitre to take back his spot when he is 100% again. It’s Lemaitre…..he’s pretty much untouchable.

We play Nancy Saturday at 2 p.m. EST. This is definitely going to be a tough match. They really tore Rennes apart. It wasn’t even close. I don’t know that Nancy is really THAT good, but they will still most certainly be on a high regarding this last match.
