No thank you, I think I’ll just wear my undershirt.

I have been waiting for Caen to make their new kits available for sale since before the season started. The kits are very nice, even though they are a bit cluttered in sponsorship. Finally, I check and they are selling them…….for 65€ . 65 €?!?!?!?!?!? Thats $88.63 USD. That, with how much it costs to ship to the United States (I don’t know the exact cost, but from buying other kits from Europe, it is about $20-25) is well over $100.

I have to ask, are you kidding me? $110 for a kit? Come on now. I once bought a London Wasps kit for $105 but rugby kits are made much stronger than footie kits. The rugby kit I have is equivalent to about 3 polo shirts, while most soccer kits are about as strong as one to two t-shirts. Come on Caen, don’t you think that is a bit pricey?

According to Olympique Lyonnais’ site, their kit costs 70€ and RC Lens’ kit cost 69.50€, which are even more outrageous. Ligue 1 needs to re-work their prices. This is ridiculous

If you still want to buy a kit, be my guest. You can order it on their online store.

I’m not sure I’m a fa of the Barcelona knock off though.

Its not really a knock off. They have always had those colors. The fact that they use stripes doesn’t mean they are ripping on them.

I go by this magical thing called eBay. I don’t know if they have much of a selection of Caen shirts, but I got sweet deals on Toronto and Tottenham shirts.

Yeah, I use Ebay all the time, but the only thing I have seen Caen-related is a pin.

They always used the same colors but since they switched to Nike, they have the emerson-era barcelona jersey. Don’t get me wrong, they would be dope if not for all the sponsors on them.

70€ is a quite normal price for football shirts…

Unless you buy last season’s shirt… and then you can get them for 30€.

You could try to see if they are cheaper at subsidesports. They ship to several European nations and the U.S.

70€ is not worth it. You can get English, Italian or German kits for $65.
