Player Profiles: Yoan Gouffran

Today, Yoan Gouffran is featured.
Yoan Gouffran, a 21 year-old striker born in a southeast section of Paris called Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, is one of the best French prospect his age. Many believe Gouffran has what it takes to become the next French prodigy.
Gouffran wears number 17 for Caen and has been with them since 2003. He also has received 8 caps from the France U-21 squad.
Rumors have flared up as of late regarding a possible move to a bigger club for the Frenchman, but nothing has solidified.
Gouffran was a critical piece in helping Caen reach second in the Ligue 2 standings, even winning Ligue 2’s Player of the Year award, scoring 15 goals on the way to Caen’s promotion to Ligue 1.

I hope we can. It is going to be a very tense and interesting transfer window.
Things will quiet down if he stays, but it will start up again soon once the winter transfer window happens.
Hopefully a miracle will happen and he will not follow the rest of the French footballing community and stay for a while.
