So Caen wasn’t really tested. Issam Jemaa scored in the 6th minute and it just went downhill from there. (Or uphill, I should say).
Benjamin Nivet scored in the 48th and Julien Toudic scored his first goal of the summer, in the 76th.
Caen finishes the Summer friendlies with back-to-back wins and their final record is 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. 12 goals for Les Malherbistes and 8 goals scored against. All in all, a very successful and momentum building summer for Caen.
OGC Nice is on Saturday. That opens up the first game of the Ligue 1 season. It is going to have to be important for Caen to pick up points quickly, for we don’t want to fall too far behind too early.
I apologize for this not being posted last night. There was a bad lightning storm so I wanted to wait for it to pass. It didn’t stop until late.

What do you think the chances are that Caen can keep Gouffran? Are Arsenal planning to make a stronger push for him?
